High Mountain Lodge

Book Now! 425 County Road 5001, Fraser, CO
The High Mountain Lodge is a casual and comfortable bed and breakfast/country inn. We welcome singles, couples, and families alike. Dogs with well-mannered owners enjoy the friendly atmosphere, too. Full Breakfast and a simple soup & salad supper are included in ski season. Other times of the year, we feature a full breakfast. Located four miles west of Fraser in a quiet valley away from the traffic and trains, all rooms have a private bathroom, private entrances, and most have fireplaces. Each room also has a refrigerator and microwave, although we aren't really set up for guests to cook in their rooms. Our indoor atrium with a pool, sauna, and hot tub is a great place to relax after an active day of skiing, hiking, mountain biking, shopping, fishing, peak-bagging, or a round of golf. The atrium's rec room has a television with hundreds of satellite channels. You can also watch videos and DVDs from our extensive library. Play a game of pool, or curl up with a book; it's up to you. Start the day with a perfect breakfast that will keep your energy going for hours. We serve a simple "First Tracks" breakfast for those wishing to make an early start, and our usual gourmet breakfast featuring homemade breads, fresh fruit, and egg dishes. You won't have to go to town for a cappucino or latte, either, as we have our own espresso maker, and feature the finest organic, fair-trade coffee beans. After a day of awesome adventures, we'll welcome you back to the Lodge with our après ski/bike/hike drinks and tasty treats. And in the winter we feature hearty, simple suppers that will have you stoked for the next day's activities. 425 County Road 5001 Fraser, CO 80442 1-800-319-8007

Children
The High Mountain Lodge welcomes families traveling with children. We do not charge for infants under two years of age. We charge $15 for children 2 through 12 years of age. Teenagers are charged the adult rate of $25 additional. If a child or teenager is traveling with only one parent and will not require a separate bed, there is no additional charge over the room rate. We discourage families with smaller children from staying in rooms opening directly into the pool Atrium (Rooms 6 and 8). Parents must supervise their children at all times.
Other Policy
The High Mountain Lodge is a non-smoking establishment. No smoking is allowed anywhere inside the buildings, including guest rooms, the Atrium, and other public spaces. This is by Colorado law as well as the policy of the Lodge. A $150 cleaning fee will be charged if guests smoke in their rooms.
Pets Policy
Dogs are welcome to bring well-behaved owners with them when they visit the High Mountain Lodge. Our Doggie Welcome package ($15 per night) includes pick-up sacks, treats, and a play toy. Dogs must be under control--voice or lead--at all times. They may not roam the grounds without their owner's supervision at any time. Mornings and evenings are times when predators are most active, so it's best to have dogs and their people sticking close to each other at those times. Dogs must be leashed in the pool atrium at all times. When the pool is covered, dogs think it is solid ground; when the pool is open, water-loving breeds think they've found heaven. Neither is true. Owners must pick up after their dogs. Even in seeming wild settings such as the High Mountain Lodge, animal scat can disturb the ecosystem, attract predators, and annoy hikers. As part of our "doggie welcome package" we provide pick-up sacks. Additional sacks are available in the office.
